In this conversation on Shakti Hour with Melanie Moser, I share the story of how I came to the Alpha and Omega framework. Not as an intellectual exercise, but out of necessity. When I said I was "moving into my masculine energy," it came loaded with cultural baggage: the failed, unlovable woman who had to compete in a man's world. When I talked about "feminine energy," that carried its own weight: powerless, demure, waiting to be chosen. Neither of those descriptions matched the woman I actually am. I have opinions. I am fully loaded and fiery. And I needed a language for polarity that did not require me to shrink any part of myself.

Melanie and I also explore my origin story. How I was a woman who had achieved everything the modern world said would make her happy: professional success, financial independence, personal freedom. And how, underneath all of that, I was deeply unfulfilled in love.
